So long and farewell 2013.
Like every other year before you, you’ve had your ups and downs but overall you were memorable in the best of ways!
I happily spent most of 2013 living in Spain and I enjoyed every second of it. We spent so much time visiting new places, meeting new people and doing lots of new things. This year I also drove thousands and thousands of miles across both Spain and France for the second time which I’m quite proud of, I must say! But really, compared to Ireland..there’s nothing like driving on French and Spanish motorways.
I’m thankful for all the new experiences that came this year and for my solid, lifelong friends and family, especially my little sister. I’m also thankful for the courage I never knew I had to make so many decisions this year, no matter how difficult or different.
Sure..I need to drink more water, use my phone and laptop a lot less, have more patience (hmm…that’s a big one!), don’t stress as much and look after myself, make more time for others I don’t see enough throughout the year..etc., etc., but just like 2013, nothing is perfect. All I can do is my best. I’m going to relax, let things happen and just go along with whatever 2014 brings!
Thank you to all of you who are reading here, for sticking by me and for all of your support. I’m at nearly 100,000 views which is amazing, thank you! I wish you every happiness for 2014. Whatever wishes or goals you have in mind for the year ahead, I hope you receive and achieve them all.
Enjoy tonight, however you celebrate and if you’re looking for ideas for tomorrow, this is really good for a hangover.
